About Life Clinics Hypnotherapy Training (LCHT)
Life Clinics Training launched its first Hypnotherapy Diploma course in Kent in 2014, founded by experienced Hypnotherapist Marcia Eden (formerly Tillman). With many years experience of clinical practice and several years teaching TFT (tapping) prior to that, Marcia set out to create a training school that prioritises depth, integrity, and a genuinely supportive, friendly learning environment—where students feel confident, well-prepared, and encouraged every step of the way.
Her vision was to offer a professionally accredited diploma that goes beyond the basics—delivering high‑quality teaching, comprehensive learning materials, and ongoing mentoring to fully support each student in becoming a confident and ethical hypnotherapist.
In 2024, LCHT expanded to offer the same high‑quality training online, providing a flexible online learning format alongside our in‑person courses in Kent.
Marcia Eden MSc, HPD
Head of School is Marcia Eden, an experienced Hypnotherapist, supervisor, and trainer who has worked in private practice for over 22 years. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and an MSc in Positive Psychology, and brings a warm, practical, and supportive approach to both her client work and teaching.
She is passionate about helping students grow into skilled, ethical practitioners and offers ongoing mentoring, supervision and training for both trainees and qualified hypnotherapists.
Marcia is also the co-founder of Hypno4Children™, a specialist training for Hypnotherapists designed to help hypnotherapists confidently support younger clients.
Julie Taylor HPD
Julie is our Internal Assessor and also co-teaches alongside Marcia on their Hypno4Children™ practitioner training. With over 17 years of experience working with clients and running a busy private practice, Julie brings a wealth of practical knowledge and insight to her role.
She has a genuine passion for Hypnotherapy and NLP, which shines through in both her client work and her teaching. A valued member of the LCHT team, Julie is known for her supportive approach, attention to detail, and deep commitment to helping students grow in confidence and skill.
Jan Williams HPD
Jan is our Head Tutor and delivers the majority of our Hypnotherapy training courses. With over 12 years of experience working with clients and running a thriving private practice, Jan brings both warmth and professionalism to her teaching.
She has a real passion for Hypnotherapy and CBT, and shares her knowledge with natural positivity, clarity, and generosity. Jan also oversees coursework marking, supporting students throughout their learning journey with detailed feedback and encouragement.
Jan is a much-loved and highly respected member of the LCHT team, known for her approachable style, depth of knowledge, and unwavering commitment to helping students succeed.
Rebecca Kemp HPD
Rebecca is our student champion and tutor assistant. You will meet her on some of your modules where she brings her fantastic positive energy as well as her experience as a Hypnotherapist a few years into private practice.
